- Present Simple is used for recurrent actions, true facts, and permanent actions, and its structure is the base form + S (third person singular)
- Present Continuous is used for actions happening at the present moment, temporary facts, and changes over a period of time, and its structure is the present form of TO BE (am, is, are) + verb in ING
- Simple Past is used for a concluded action at a specific point in the past, and its structure is the base form + ED (or irregular verbs)
- Past Continuous is used for ongoing actions in the past, and its structure is WAS/wasn't and WERE/weren't + ING
- Present Perfect is used for an action that started in the past and is still ongoing, repeated actions over time, and its structure is HAVE/haven't and HAS/hasn't + ED (third column)
