Past Simple
- Forma affermativa: soggetto + was/were (Es. "We were in Paris last week")
- Forma interrogativa: was/were + soggetto (Es. "Where was John yesterday?")
- Forma negativa: soggetto + wasn't/weren't (Es. "They weren't in Paris last week")
Per gli altri verbi:
- Forma affermativa: soggetto + verbo + ed (Es. "I lived in Australia when I was a child")
- Forma interrogativa: did + soggetto + infinito (Es. "Where did you live last year?")
- Forma negativa: soggetto + didn't + infinito (Es. "I didn't live in Australia when I was a child")
Usiamo questo tempo con espressioni come: yesterday, last week/month/year, two days ago, in 2016, on June 6th.
